Description
Identifying a visual story from the start of your painting is foundational to its success, and bringing the visual elements together to support it begins with strong design.
“I believe painters can improve their work if they understand that it is a dynamic painting they are creating and not just rendering a scene.”
This workshop inspires a more experimental approach at the easel—encouraging artists to explore and discover—while reinforcing the importance of the fundamentals and how to best apply them to your paintings. Stephanie will highlight and demonstrate various stages of her process, as well as discuss her love of painting on wood panels, use of a limited palette approach, brushwork, and varied mark-making. A fun and engaging workshop designed to push thinking and skills to a higher level.
